Yawn. Snooze. Boring

This is a slow walk to Nowheresville. All these guys are so adorable, handsome, and incredibly attractive. And, for the most part, can act, if given half the chance. Yes, this is a very short series that in my opinion was a pre-cursor to things to come in LOVE BY CHANCE (which I disliked for the most part). Briefly, this story is about 3 couples who misunderstand and misinterpret what at least one of the partners in each relationship is doing. One of the actors in thiw series is Tanapon Sukhumpatanasan (Perth). I shall admit upfront that I am biased and smitten by Perth. He can act, although he is not given much in this short series to work with. There is something about his presence on screen that just suspends me into believing him. What makes him so authentic for me is that I can see the commitment and passion in his eyes when he gets into the role, no matter how small or insignificant it is. This is a basic throw-away series that simply goes nowhere. Unfortunately, because you do have some good actors here but they are never given the opportunity to show their skills or their craft. Give them something with intensity and I think they would all shine.

cute little snippet

If you are a fan of any of the boys or Love Sick, this show is a very cute little show you will absolutely love.

I especially love Mean in this! I loved him and Plan in Love By Chance, but I love their dynamic in this and 2Wish even more!!
It was also very nice to see Captain and White revisiting Noh and Phun, and playing them as cute and in love as I rember them from Love Sick.

Don't expect too much story wise, and simply enjoy some jealousy and angst with an happy ending :D

Also do yourself a favor and watch 2Wish, because Mean/Plan are even cuter there, and yes that is possible!!

SO CUTEEEEE AND PERTHSAINT!!!

Story
The only reason I took points off was because it hurt my heart too much. Otherwise it was so cute and shows that you should put trust in your partner.

Acting/Cast
Of course it has an amazing cast. Not only is it giving us sadness that Saint is not going to be in season 2 but it is showing us what it would be like if he was in it. Also the LoveSick couple. ;)

Music
The only memorable thing besides Saint's entrance with the music is the ending song. If you watched the show you know what I mean if not....

Overall
GO WATCH IT NOW!!!!! It is only a short little show that fills me with happiness.

Nostalgia! If I had to pick one word to explain this show. This is a really short and cute reunion for BL lovers. For all Love by Chance and Lovesick stans. (This show isn't related to Love by Chance at all just same couples) Even though this show was really short there were lessons to be learned. PerthSaint's story taught the importance of trust. MeanPlan taught us the importance of communication and PhunNoh taught us the importance of time. If you are both a fan of Lovesick and LBC this series will give your heart a big smile. I do have to say that if you're only a fan LBC then Reminders will hit differently. If you're watching this just to watch more AePete and TinCan I can say it's obviously less exciting.

The first time I watched Reminders was right after LBC to see more AePete and Tincan. The first time through I watched it through the lens of a LBC stan because I haven't seen Lovesick, this made me see Reminders as just a mediocre show to satisfy fans. After Reminders I decided to give Lovesick a try and guess what I absolutely loved it. I was so obsessed and attached to Lovesick. I watched Reminders once again but this time as a Lovesick and LBC fan. And what can I say, this time through hit differently. The growth of PhunNoh is beautiful and can I just say Captain glowed up so handsomely. Their reunion after so many years make all PhunNoh fans nostalgic, especially with their iconic ost playing.

Reminders is a quick show to pass time and if you're a LBC fan this series may seem like nothing but if you're a Lovesick fan this series is a total 10/10 worth watching. Get some tissues ready because PhunNoh's comeback is just too beautiful.

I watched ReminderS because I just finished Love by Chance and I loved Perth and Saint's chemistry, so I had to watch ReminderS just for a little more of that. Their characters in ReminderS are totally different (personality, style, etc), but it was still a lot of fun. I didn't like Son/Pin's relationship as much as I loved Pete/Ae, but Saint really pulls off the more dominating personality type so it was fun to watch the new dynamic between them. They're such great actors and I would love to see them act together again in the future!

The only other ship I really cared for in this was Wish and Two, but that was mostly because of TinCan from Love by Chance. I didn't love their relationship in this mini-series, but it was cute. Mean is so different as Two versus Tin, and I think I prefer him as Tin (but that's a personal bias since I love the more dominating/cold types).

I know there was another relationship happening in this mini series, but I ignored them (similar to how I ignored the two couples in Love by Chance that weren't as prominent as AePete and TinCan). Their story seemed cute but I just wasn't emotionally invested in it.

I watched all 3 episodes in one sitting and it was a lot of fun to see old and new faces, but I still think this series is only a 7/10 for me. It's a cute mini-series but my least favorite trope is miscommunication that causes a bunch of problems. It's so easy to just talk to one another and sort out your issues, so sometimes I was frustrated with all of the characters in this mini-series.

3 couples. 3 stories. 3 episodes. 3 misunderstandings.

It's cute. I basically watched it because of Ae/Pete withdrawals even though SonPin are very different personalities.

It's interesting to watch Mean play this goofy/smitten/puppy-dog character after watching him play Tin. And Plan's character is such a grouchy grump. OMG I wanted to smack him upside the head. But he still reminded me of Can for some reason.

I haven't watched LoveSick, but Noh/Phun are so mature and confident in their relationship until they aren't. Their relationship misunderstandings are what really brought my rating down. Mostly because each of them was being Yoda for one side of the other Pairs.

Overall a happy ending. It's a short series, so its ok. It's cute. If it was longer, more fleshed out and wholesome it would have been nice.

Why Only 3 Episodes!?

I think this series had a lot of potential...if it was longer. 3 episodes does not make a cohesive story arch, let alone 3 seperate ones. I will say, I loved seeing Perth and Saint play a couple again. I miss Ae and Pete so much! Though this couple (Pin & Son) they played was nothing like Ae and Pete, they still worked off of each other very well. Perth is a fantastic actor and he shows that again in this series in the final episode. Even if there wasn't much screen time given to showcase much! However, I appreciate that of the 3 couples the 1 that got a love scene was them. Thank you lol!

They brought back Mean and Plan as well, though this time around I wasn't feeling it. I enjoyed seeing them on the same screen, but the characters they played in this kinda sucked. Wish (played by Plan) had fantastic hair lol which threw me off because he looked pretty fine and I never saw him as attractive in LBC, but the character was pretty cruel for no contextual reason. Unless I'm missing something? Then Mean as Two was just really really strange to see. Two is kinda supposed to be a little dumb and naive, which doesn't suit Mean at all. He's better off playing strong silent characters. This entire series felt like a weird alternate universe of LBC and I was both intrigued and confused. Noh and Phun I have never seen before because Love Sick never intrigued me, but in this they were alright! I liked that they were pretty level-headed. I wish the series had gone on longer, but I get this was kinda just an actor promotion. I wish Saint was going to be in LBC season 2, but if there is a season 3 DON'T RECAST HIM or try to have Pete gone again! I'll be pissed and I want more of Perth and Saint.

Love It

I really enjoyed it. Seeing some of my favorite bl actors is always a treat. The storyline is realistic and seeing the couples work out their problems is a real plus. This series is short and sweet. Mean and Wish are so cute together. In fact all the couples complement each other. These actors all deserve to be main characters. I am an international fan and probably one of their oldest fans too but I find their plots very natural and helping to address the social stigma which still exists. The music was also nice and sweet.

I wish there was more PhunNoh

Story:
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this. But I came straight from watching Lovesick for the first time and I was expecting a bit more. First of all, Noh's glow up caught me off guard. I thought he was adorable in Lovesick, but he was blossomed into a very hot young man in this one lol. I was kinda hoping we would see a real kiss between the two actors now that they're older and was bummed not to see it, but I think the hug in the end is truer to character based on how things were in Lovesick. I haven't seen Love by Chance yet, so I didn't have any of those comparisons in mind going into this like it seems so many other people did. But that also means I didn't have the same attachment to the cast, so I think that hurt my enjoyment of the overall story a bit

Acting/Cast
I never thought the acting in Lovesick was bad, but wow was there a great improvement between that and ReminderS. Considering how much I love PhunNoh, I don't think there was ever a chance to rate this low, but the new actors I've now been exposed to also did a really great job, and I look forward to watching them in their other projects

Music:
Because I didn't watch Lovesick when it c=first came out and didn't have to wait 4 years to watch this one, I didn't have the nostalgic feel with the music that some other people did. I watched Lovesick and then this over the course of a week. But I like that it used the same music, and I know they were going for a nostalgic feel with it, which I'm sure I'll feel when I rewatch the whole series

Rewatch Value:
I came into this for PhunNoh, and considering there wasn't a lot of content with them together, this greatly impacts the likelihood that I would rewatch this. Maybe it will be different after I watch Love by Chance, but as it is now, it doesn't give me the same appeal as rewatching Lovesick does

Phun and Noh from Love Sick and are joined by new couples Pin and Son (in Love by Chance Ae and Pete) and Two a Wish (in Love by Chance Tin and Can). Well-known music and only three parts of unequal length from 14-40 min and not as stated by IMDb 3x30 min.

Those who have seen the series Love Sick and Love by Chance (both seasons) might think that here the destinies of the couples are their continuation. It is not so. How do young men cope with small clouds in the relationships of individual couples? The most changed (I'll call them names from previous series) is Tin, who finally shows his acting skills in the role of the smiling Two (so far we only knew him as sullen, domineering, "puffed up" and hurt Tin), Can has changed primarily physically ( pink hair), Ae showed that he has matured as an actor, and the creators finally combed the affine from Pete's forehead so that the smile of a freshly plucked mouse or a sun on the dung would remain. As for intimacy, there were few of them, less than in the original series, and the audience will probably evaluate it differently and will be divided into those who already know the actors and those who are seeing them for the first time.

Phun a Noh ze seriálu Love Sick a k nim se přidávají nové dvojice Pin a Son (v seriálu Love by Chance Ae a Pete) a Two a Wish (v seriálu Love by Chance Tin a Can).

A hit of Nostalgia

*happy ending for all three couples*

Lovesick is one of my first BLs that I watched and has been my most favorite thai BL so seeing PhunNoh together again, together with the ost, I started feeling happy and nostalgic. Coupled to that that here, PerthSaint is together, which makes it a great watch as they are not together in LBC2.

Another thing that made it great is the acting. Perth is number one in this series for that. You can really feel the distrust and love he felt for Saint here. I also love that it seems nothing changed to the PhunNoh couple. They still hug the same and Phun still talks like the student secretary that he is. It's like Lovesick just ended yesterday.

2Wish on the other hand, showcased a different set of acting in which they seemed to have reversed roles and attitude compared to TinCan which made it a breath of fresh air.

All in all, it is a good watch if you love each of their own parent series and missed them so much.

Today I'm on a Tin&Can-marathon. I enjoy the new season ACTL and I watched 2Wish, which I really liked. So I thought I would give ReminderS a second chance (the first time I watched it I couldn't get into it). I must say I still don't like it. The story is all about insecurity and jealousy how it's written in the description. It's just tiring. An hour and a half full of misunderstandings. Mean's acting is a bit ... hard to get used to, and Plan plays a character who isn't very likable. In 2Wish we have the same characters, but they feel differently and there is a different power balance. Saint and Perth ... well, I don't know. I liked the story between Phun and Noh the most, I guess. Not impressed. Sorry.
