Even if only for a ratings grab by y girls, this show still deserves huge props for giving us the ending we always wanted for Mean and Plan in Love by Chance (albeit the tongue-in-cheek name changes of the characters ????) and a nice continuation for Perth and Saint, as the Cathy Doll short apparently won’t include them as a couple. i definitely think that this is a good bridging show between Lovesick 2 and the upcoming season, because not only does Noh look a hell of a lot different now (even from in Great Men Academy), but both he and Phun have clearly matured in their thinking and have come to a stable point in their relationship. I can’t wait for Love Sick 3 and the return of last season’s characters :)

Reminders was the fresh closure I needed

Well, like most of the people around everywhere, I was so bumped when I saw LBC2, first of all, TinCan was my fav couple (AePete 2nd fav) and not to see Pete on LBC2 was so sad, especially since Emo Ae was not my taste at all...

I read through the forums what happened by the time with Ae's former management studio and Pete's and why they weren't on LBC2, so I can just hope to see LBC3 or any kind of special to get the AePete's story closing properly.

Going through that I found Reminders and it was so interesting to see the couples of LBC (haven't seen Love Sick, sorry, actors not my taste haha), I know that they switch personalities for TinCan, and actually, I'm ok with it, I think that Tin needed some happiness on his life and things worked well.

Buuuuuut, seeing Reminders after LBC2 let me get the closure I needed for AePete, actually.... for me, Ae softened enough after Pete's absence and I feel like Pete get to grow up as a person which makes him more confident... the fact that the series shows them in a normal couple issue, makes me feel relief about their relationship. It led me to see them as the couple I wanted from LBC and to think of them as life-long partners.

Reminders remind us that TinCan (2Wish) needed to uplift their communication and that AePete (SonPin) needed to rebuild their trust.

I feel served about the original couples... I would be glad to see LBC3 or a special, but, for now, I feel ok with this ending.

Well... this was different! (I put some of these comments down as a post, but seems appropriate for a review.)

On the plus side, I like Saint sooooo much better in this (I wasn't a big fan of his one-dimensional Pete character in LBC). Glad to see TinCan back together (ok, MeanPlan). Perth is always great. It's nice to see some favorite actors again. The story was just kind of okay. At least there were conclusive (and happy) endings.

On the flip side, Plan became kind of a dick, and I wasn't totally sold on wimpy, all smiles Mean. The writers/director pretty much went for the TeeMork storyline of Our Skyy... not too original there (and not nearly as good). Saint really can't sing. And, while it's not LBC, did they have to use all of the background music and the same songs? It's all just kind of... bizarre.

But it was an okay diversion.

Trash

I only started watching this because it was only 3 episodes long and I thought, what can go wrong in 3 episodes.
I watched one and bit of the second episode and gave up, the drama is trash!.
It was hard to figure out what the moral of the story was, I know it is a Thai BL and using the word moral seems a little silly but they were trying.
One boy doesn't trust his boyfriend, We all know you need trust in a relationship so we can watch him learn and grow. The only problem is that his boyfriend was sneaking around and lying to him so I can understand why he doesn't trust him.
The other couple were just terrible, we had Scum and Pathetic, I just wanted Pathetic to punch Scum but instead he blew on Scum's porridge so it wouldn't burn his mouth. Blowing on peoples food in Asian drama's means you love them and they instantly fall in love with you after watching you do it. I find it rather disgusting really and I just wanted Pathetic to break the leg of the table and beat Scum around the head with it.

The story line was ridiculous and shallow, as are the characters. I forced myself to watch 2.5 episodes and couldnt bring myself to care about ANYONE in the story (well, I did cringe when I saw Pond, but it was just a cameo). I'm probably not the target audience for this type of show I wondered if the studio had some contractual agreement to get all these guys some face time and slapped this together. The acting was bad. Maybe if they had more expressions on their faces, but it just seemed like poor acting, poor script/storyline.

As the description says, it's not a continuation of LBC. It's like LBC with an entirely new flavour but the same love for the main characters. I would like to applaud Perth's acting in this short series, especially in the last episode. Such a promising young actor. The rest of them are still consistent.

Story? Simple and short. If anything, it reminds me of OurSkyy series Tee and Mork, except that this is more emotional. I say that this has little rewatch value because the story is so simple, you don't need to etch it into your heart. It's like they reminded the fans that, after all the BL series that we have watched, there was once a heart-warming BL series called Love By Chance. And we should not forget that.

This series was fun to watch with my obsession with lovesick and love by chance. I loved it very much and fangirled one to many times. BUT!!
It wasn’t to die for. I understand that this small series was mainly to promote lovesick season3 (which I’m very excited for)
It wasn’t a series I would recommend to any of my friends. It was more of a small series you could watch if you have some spear time.
Overall this series was a good series to watch if you are really missing the actors from lovesick or LBC. It was refreshing and a show I might watch again.

It was great to see all these actors again, and with a happy ending. It certainly isn't Shakespeare, but there is a cute story with all three couples. Just don't get hung up on the fact these actors were in previous series together, there is nothing in common with those other characters. There really aren't any loose ends or major holes in the plot, which is nice for a change.

Simply take this as a new short movie, and it will be a fun distraction from the real world for a couple hours.

Once again, my opinion differs from the loudest part of the fandom but I loved this mini-series. PhunNoh’s story was excellent and SonPin’s and 2Wish’s were very sweet, too, IMHO. No big bads, no homophobic parents or old enemies or ex-girlfriends making their lives miserable, just little everyday things and issues stemming from misunderstandings and little white lies and a simple lack of trust. I liked it a lot.

PhunNoh’s story was my favorite, of course, and I especially loved the absolute trust Phun had in Noh, there was no doubt in Phun’s mind that Noh was faithful to him. And Noh’s sadness because Phun had no time for him… yeah, I felt that on a bone-deep level.

And with SonPin and 2Wish, it was amazing to see Saint and Mean in particular playing such different roles from Pete and Tin, respectively. You really couldn’t mistake their ReminderS parts for their LBC roles. They looked different, talked different, they were different. That was so cool to watch!

Let me firstly say I love BL's and I loved all the 'parent' shows that are connected to this one. I love the cast and they played their roles fantastically!

However....

This show is utter chaos! What happened? All the characters I loved, all the basic traits and connections between characters etc. were destroyed. There was/is no consistency with this show in pretty much any regards to the 'parent' shows, the characters, or even just as you watch the show itself (disregarding all your previous knowledge of the characters and past shows; watching it as a new show itself) it is all over the place and gives me a literal headache.

Honestly it truly saddens me, I wanted to love it! There was so much to love about the prospect of this show!

But I just can't get over the fact that it simply seems like someone watched too many BL's had a chaotic dream and just wrote it down; making the show as the mess they had imagined in the middle of the night.

Disregarding all this the cast and their acting is 10/10 and I love them all! If I have some patience I may just struggle through the next two episodes for their sake.
