"Pomposa" is the story of two feuding family heads - Pakang, a semi-illiterate and poverty stricken widow and Obeng, alias Juvy, rich but conceited. Trouble starts when Obeng insults Pakang claiming that the stones in the ring and earrings the latter tries to pawn to the former are not genuine. And when Obeng discovers that the two sons of Pakang are courting her daughters, she uses her tongue and money to discredit Pakang. But everything changes when Pomposa comes into the life of Pakang.
