How popular is cdrama compared to kdrama internationally?

Though its much less popular than kdramas cdramas popularity has been rising a lot in recent years. Do you think there is possibility it can get closer and closer to kdrama popularity?

Maybe if it's available on other platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, Hulu, etc, it might find a larger audience.

It also depends on the kind of content that is produced. China does xanxia/wuxia really well but it might have a niche audience. Some of it's modern dramas are also good. Chinese movies were popular even before Korean movies.

One good thing that China is doing is making multi-sub closed captioning available on it's web dramas. That's the best way to find a larger audience.
