Yoo Hee Jae, simply known as Hee Jae, is a South Korean singer, former member of the group MASC and current member of the duo SEVENUS. He graduated from Kaywon Arts High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater and Film from the Seoul Institute of the Arts. He was selected by JJ Holic Media & Lotus E&M and made his debut in 2016 (with the EP "Strange") as a the lead vocalist and main dancer of the originally 4-member group MASC. However, the group underwent many lineup changes when 4 new members were added in 2017 for their third single, "Do It" and later 2 of them left the group after allegations of physical violence between them. After a world tour in 2019, the group went on hiatus and officially disbanded in 2020. After disbanding, he decided to fulfill his mandatory military service and was discharged in 2022. He entered "Peak Time" alongside groupmate Ireah and both teamed up as Team 7:00, managing to finish in 2nd place. After the show, both signed a contract with PCS Entertainment and, in May 2023, re-debuted as a duo called SEVENUS.
