While in Taiwan and preparing for her album release, Anya became the first girl DJ in Taiwan clubs. She caught a lot of media attention, including Hong Kong media. With so much public attention, her interview in a magazine caught the attention of Golden Harvest Films director Jingle Ma.

In June 2002, it was confirmed by Taipei City Police Department that ecstasy was found in the urine tests of Anya and Hong Kong actor-singer William So. In August, she left for Taiwan for observation and drug rehabilitation. During her sentence, Anya also published her autobiographical book "The Imprint of 4999", in which she reviewed her growth background and the various processes of entering the entertainment circle. On the evening of September 4, she was released from prison after serving 10 days in prison.

In 2006, she began to develop in China. In 2009, she starred in the movie "Chengdu, I Love You". In May 2012, she won the Huading Award Ranked 69th in the Top 100 Domestic Emerging Talents in the Satisfaction Survey of Asian Performing Artists.

After dating for nearly 10 years, Wu and Kong Zhong, a descendent of the 78th generation of Confucius, got married in a low-key manner in 2012. In February 2013, she gave birth to a son named Kong Chui Shen (English name: Aditya). Edit Biography
