Choi Jung Hoon
- Name: Choi Jung Hoon
- Native name: 최정훈
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: March 10, 1992
- Age: 32
He had an interest in music since he was a child and found music from Elton John, Ozzy Osbourne, and the Korean band Sanulrim as his inspiration. His teacher motivated him to continue on with music. He later attended and graduated from Yatap High School where he met guitarist Kim Do Hyung who will become a bandmate in Jannabi. He was admitted to Kyung Hee University looking for a degree in Business Administration but decided to postpone his admission to focus on music.
He was selected as a trainee by FNC Entertainment, who managed rock band N.Flying, but he quit the company as his music style was different from the band. In 2012, Choi's older brother founded Peponi Music and created Jannabi but they had to start from the bottom and have to busk on the streets and perform in small clubs.
In 2013, the band entered "Superstar K 5" but Kim Do Hyung and former bandmate Yoon Young Hyun were eliminated very soon while Choi made it to the top 7 in a vocal group called "Plan B". Since 2014 the band has gained popularity and has produced several digital singles and OSTs for several dramas. In 2016, Jannabi released their first full album "Monkey Hotel" with Choi listed as the lyricist. In 2019, the song "For Lovers Who Hesitate" made it into the Gaon Digital Chart, and the band had their first national tour later he served as a one-man band when the other 2 members were in the military. In 2022, he joined the show "Hot Singers" as a music director and gained several endorsements in South Korea.
