I'm tired... Also, justice for Rit please.. I beg of you..

Okay.. do not crucify me for this, but god this was exhausting to watch... It successfully made me feel stuck in a loop with them.
By episode 10 I felt depressed realizing I still had 3 episodes left to watch and it just felt tedious...
Just like someone else mentioned, ep 10 was definitely my least favorite episode and admittedly I sped through the last 10 minutes. But unfortunately that was just the beginning of the end for me. I ended up watching most of the other episodes on 2x speed, which I have never done before. To be fair I also skipped through manner of death so perhaps this is just not my thing, but every choice made just aggravated me.
Now let me say that I understand where people are coming from when they hype this show up. It's different and more mature rather than your regular fluffy BL. But 'Not me' (another 'not fluffy' bl ) was easily incredible on its own and compared to this it is a god send that no one but a celestial being could have created and blessed us with. I usually don't like comparing shows, especially when they are vastly different from one another. But to call this the best show when other shows like that are out there feels a little bit too strongly worded... I also think the experience usually feels better when you watch it slowly over time, because you tend to forget some of the details. I on the other hand binged it within 24 hours and witnessed a different flow because of that.

Side note : OMG Jinta's laughter at 2x speed sounds like a reptilian call xD Why is that honestly the best thing ever.

Okay let's get into the show a little more. When I watch fluffy shows I normally only review them on whether they made me have a giggle and some sweet aww moments. If you can do that, you are pretty much good to go. With shows like this however I get really analytical and I crave the intellectual stimulation. This show in particular reminded me of watching a horror movie where all the characters just simply don't have the ability to rationally think for a moment.
At episode 2, I already found myself screaming at Tin to do an autopsy and testing to find the actual cause of death. Sure the accident was what caused him to go to the hospital, but how exactly did it occur and why exactly was CPR not enough to save him. Instead we see a montage of him doing the exact same things over and over and over again for what seems like weeks reliving the same moment. Not a single time did it occur to him to find out more about his patient, the accident or why the loop even exists. Which SPOILER ALERT, never gets clarified. The loop just exists and that's it. Jinta is a being with too much free time and thought this would be a fun case to solve. When Tin finally gets to the point of maybe trying to stop the accident rather than trying to save Tol in the aftermath, he genuinely thinks he can just walk up to another person in scrubs at a uni and tell them they will die tonight? Or you know start a sentence with: hey is this your girlfriend? You may want to be careful.. OFCOURSE he would bust your face in when you start a convo with a stranger like that... How is this man qualified for anything? It's not his intelligence that worries me, it's his rational thinking and human insight that seems to be lacking.
I'm just gonna throw it randomly in here, but I don't like Gap. And I don't understand how Gap and Sing even got together in the end. There was nothing consistent in the last few loops, everything was already different from the get go before they even made a change in the timelines. Somehow that resulted in Gap and Sing getting together off screen in Tol's time travel loop. Which didn't surprise me, because I was wondering how on earth they would get the two of them together when they also are reset every time. Watching this all in one go also made me hyper aware of how little romantic development there is between Tol and Tin until Tin DECIDES that he needs to be Tol's bf to end the loop. This was more a head decision that he made rather than being shown having genuine feelings for Tol and being unable to help himself in wanting to be with him. Tol also starts to remember some fragments of the past cycle in order to obviously speed up the justification for his 2 day turn around in seemingly falling for Tin when he has a gf. (Okay this entire review comes with side notes but, I know we all love and appreciate that gender isn't made into a big deal. But even though this is a BL show, some people just genuinely are straight or prefer to be in straight relationships regardless of their orientation. The assumption that everyone will swing both ways all the time or even by default will be into the other person is a little tiring sometimes too.) Anyway apparently the only thing that will give Tol a heart attack without fail is to see Mai with another guy at the party, but being chased with a gun and having your Bf? die was only a bit of a depressive slump. Okay okay I won't be too critical off this, since heart attacks don't consistently work where they will occur in any stressful or painful/overwhelming situation. I just took note of it, but I'll let that one slide.
Quick question however, how did Art choke on the 17th when he was always fine on the 18th? And the same with our little kitty. Why do things change the further back in time you go before the butterfly effect can even do it's thing? Why does nothing that Tin does on his phone or notebook get erased? I seriously doubt he looked Tol up in the loop on the 17th, so why was he still in his FB search history. Why is everyone so sloppy with coming up with decent working plans. It's like they go with whatever just pops up first in their minds. Gap just stands still for 3 minutes straight, listening to how Sing is held under gun shot and all he does is repeatedly go ''hello? Hello sing?? Sing? hello?'' ,,, my dude, are seriously going to be this helpless?
Tin just simply stares and waits until the guy with the gun at the award party finds Rit and Tol under the table before making his move.. Why not cause a distraction? Why not just immediately plan for attack? Why did you look like you were going to walk straight up towards him when you first spotted him? So many questionsssss. But this one is seriously one that bothers me ... here it comes.. WHY DID YOU NOT SNEAK AWAYYYY! When Tin and Tol are hiding, the guy literally passes by them without seeing them in some god send miracle. But what does Tin decide to do instead of sneaking out of the door? He SNEAKS up to the guy to choke him, gets overpowered and shot -.- this literal eejit! I don't think I need to even talk about Doctor Doi, he is just a mess and I don't feel like discussing him at all. Whether on purpose or by accident, it's fine, his little raging dog moment in the end was just exhausting but I sped through it so idk it's fine. I'm fine, we're all fine. My sanity is gone, but I'm fine. At episode 11/12 I had officially given up, my energy was simply gone and I couldn't master any more words to argue about the never ending saga of events. I just can't ... Also... sweetie if you have to pretend to be dead, don't breathe/// In the ending scene where they do an autopsy on the doctor you can totally see his stomach move up and down.
Moral of the story?": Why does this exist, I don't know. There is no point being made, there is no resolution to why this show even exists and what or who Jinta was and the mysterious time loop that all started on one faithed night on the 18th at 10:55pm.

Last but not least, can someone pretty pretty pleaseeeeee give Rit his justice. Rit was my favorite character the entire show and I felt SO bad for him. He got done dirty by almost everyone, always involuntarily gets in the middle of chaos and simply deserves so much more. I don't care if it a man or a woman, I just need someone to show him some love. I was so sad when I realized he wouldn't be paired up with anyone, but also slightly relieved because no one was that likeable. Most characters were either not on screen enough to get to know them or they weren't all that kind. Even Tin and Tol aren't necessarily kind people. Tin does whatever works best for him and Tol seems like a moody teenager most of the time and hurts Rit in the process.
All I want is justice for Rit.

After finishing this show I needed to watch some stand up in order to get my sanity back.
