There are only a couple of things you need to know.1. This is not a BL (not really at least)
2. You will laugh a lot if you watch it
3. The last two episodes are incredibly moving, I cried and I don't cry easily
4. It is a brilliantly written, acted, produced drama, the cast is brilliant across the board
5. Just watch it and form your own opinion.
If you watch it you will be treated to a thought provoking story with incredibly likeable main cast members, they all get their moments to shine, a great storyline, that never feels rushed yet also never gets boring or bogged down and you will laugh and you will cry. Is there anything more you can ask of any drama?

Enjoyable mess
I really shouldn't like this series, there are so many things that are mediocre at best, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Things that weren't so good; The script needed a good polish, the editing was wildly inconsistent and some (long and unnecessary) scenes were included clearly to pad episodes while some scenes should have been included but weren't. If you are going to talk about the cake competition that often, maybe it might be nice to include a little 'masterchef' type scenes and have the contestants do more than finishingbthe final look of the cakes. The attention to details left something to be desired too. And lets not talk about the Ace of Cakes company environment, that was really unbelievable.There was one thing that kept me watching and that was the relationship between Sky and Ace, that was really well done. I especially loved to see some passion in a relationship for a change, the scenes where they kiss are the highlight of the show. The guys did their best with what they were given and made it work. They really showed love for each other. The supporting cast did the same and managed to be likable despite a poorly written script. The one character that didn't work for me was Moira, she was either whiny or James Bond level evil, though not an evil genius.

Brilliant in every way
This show is completely brilliant. I discovered it on Netflix and had to force myself to stop watching and continue the next evening because otherwise I would have continued watching till the next morning.The central performances are convincing and so lovely. I can actually believe Gavreel and Cai fell in love. Supporting characters are all great, I can't even be mad at Terrence. Pearl was brilliant too.
The songs were great. I really enjoyed the way the show told its story by (almost) only showing the relationship grow in modern social media, vidcalls, etc.
I couldn't help rooting for Cai and Gavreel, plus one (kind of funny/weird) kissing scene and a real one, what more could I ask of a TV show?

one of the best bls in a long time, definitely worthy of a re-watch
What's not to love about this show? The leads have great chemistry, the locations are gorgeous, the music is great and it has a believable, honest and sweet story.Sidenote, it's awesome that this show released a soundtrack of the score, that so seldomly happens in bls. I recommend listening to it and, or buying it.
The two lead actors portray their characters in a believable way. (Even though no one would even dare look at another person if PP Krijgt told you he loved you.) Tech's drama is believable, the reason he hurts Oh is understandable, I may shout at thescreen to just tell Oh you love him, but that would have been dishonest.
It's also lovely to watch a Thai show that was filmed in another place. Watching other dramas you might start to believe Bangkok is the only place where people live in all of Thailand. The scenery is just great, sometimes I'm torn between watching the gorgeous leads or the beautiful scenery.

Good drama with enough humor
I really enjoyed the entire (first) season. There are plenty of things to enjoy in this show. The two leads have great chemistry. The supporting players are good too, special mention has to go to the vharacter Na who starts out as a spoilt brat and I ended up rooting for.The opening scene was brilliant. It was surreal, funny, charming and completely bonkers. It did kind of set the tone.
There are only a few things that were a bit disappointing, Amp was way too intense, they should have toned her way down. She became less believable as time went on.
The last episode was good but felt kind of rushed. There were a couple of scenes in the last episode that would have worked better if they had spent more time on it. I did like why the dad didn't approve of the relationship and he was rehabilitated by the end.

don't believe the hype (or the score)
Maybe my expectations were too high, but this was not to my liking at all. It seemed like a 14-year-old's wet dream instead of a proper drama.The story was predicable, far too much alpha male energy and the less said about the finale the better. (Are there clichés left untouched in the last episode?)
There are good points, episode 6 was fun, and Barcode (Porschay) was lovely, he should have his own series. But even Barcode can't rescue bad writing. Why would a big fan not know that his idol is a member of a maffia family, surely one Google search would show that much. Then he would have known why Kim befriended him.
