Same story of HUMANS 2015 by Gemma Chen
The original story of this show is from same show with same tittle HUMANS played by Gemma Chen as the female lead character (Crazy Rich Asian ,she played Astrid character in that movie). I watched Gemma Chen version and I must say her acting as a robot was impeccable. If you like this show, you should check out Gemma version as well. There are two seasons .Season 1 completed in 2015 and season two completed in 2017. It's available right now in amazon if you have amazon prime. It's my favorite show in amazon prime. Heartwarming drama
I am a bit late with this drama. I tend to watch drama halfway dropping it or fast forward due to over the top dramatic or silly scenes but I am proud to say I finish every episode of this drama without skipping it. If you are into backstabbing, crazy ex dramas that try to ruin a relationship, scheming, unnecessary or over the top obstacles to get together, this is NOT the drama for you. This drama has NONE of it. Which is probably why I like it. It's just about two people trying do their best in their work and relationship. It's about achieving dream,supporting each other .The only obstacle they provide is literally how they handle long distance even then, it's not much.The only thing I wish they portray more in the show is how the FL gets to where she is .They focus on the guy's obstacle and how he gets to where he is but the FL never gets the same story line. It's never told how she was approached to be a superstar other than 'someone asked me to be in a movie' , if she has any other dream of her own .I wish they give us more backstory about it.
Other than that,it's a good drama .

Criminal minds mixed with Mindhunter
If you like show such as Criminal minds or mind hunter, you will most likely like this show. However, this show is slow in terms of getting the criminals caught. Which is more realistic anyway. I skip some parts that I don't care about such as the politics in the office,I understand they need to show the huddle they go through to actually get this department accepted and taken serious to begin with but I feel it's taking away from some parts of the criminal mindsUnlike Criminal minds (The .US version) where they will actually show you what trigger these people to commit the act .these show until last episode never explorers that element.

Weak compare the U.S Version
I watched the U.S version before watching this version. I watched all episodes without skipping and fell in love with all the characters that worked closely with the president. Hannah was by far my favorite in the U.S version ,she's bad ass , and her 'friendship' to the president and loyalty was one of my favorite .You see all the characters grew, Seth, Aaron and Mike. I loved watching them . Maybe because the show ran more season, you got to see how much Tom character changed from the first day to the end of becoming president . He also lost so so much.This Korean version though.. The president alone...from first episode to last episode,he just did not have the charisma. The girl that supposedly play Hannah, spent more time running. I barely saw her have any fight. She's just not as strong as Hannah and we only have 16 episodes with one season, if we want to rush the story line, at the very least, probably should cut the whole 'staring looking into the abyss' scenes a lot less.

Feels rushed
The plot is interesting. It could have been a great show if it's longer. It's a good idea to have the show to only have 8 episodes but why have multiple plot if the show is that short. It should have stick with the main character story line and nothing else so they can build the romance between the main characters.The romance just feels rushed so it does not make sense. Next thing you knew they're in love and then there's a talk they were 'seeing each other'? WHEN?HOW? , Also the FL has the worst wardrobe. I hate every single dress she wore to the party. They AGED her.
Also not a fan of the ML. I can't tell if he's happy when he was with the FL. He just looks sad or mad in the entire show.

Sky Castle but with younger kids
If you like Sky castle, you will like this show. Pretty much about the same even each character and kids have the similarity. Heck including the plot!!. The stars of the show is the kids. I think it's worth to watch just to appreciate and support these young talents. Korean child actors/actresses are WAY WAYYY better than the Chinese ones. They can cry, I have yet to see Chinese child stars that manage to shed real tears and weep . The pair of the kids with the parents are good too, They somewhat resemble each other especially the kid that play Henry. They look like they belong in one family.Was this review helpful to you?
Saved by female lead acting
If you are looking for a show that you want to relax without having to go through the roller coaster of all the unnecessary dramas or plots ,this is it the show for you. You just sit back and watch without having to use an inch of your brain questioning what,why,how, .This show has a potential but falls short and hard due to the main lead. This guy...has to be the worst actor I've ever watched. No offense to his fans, but other than his 'cold looks' ,there's absolutely nothing he contributes in the show. His character is like a robot. He is very stiffed. If the female lead acting is the same as him, there's no way this show will be watchable. The whole time he is just standing there looking into the abyss.
In short, The female lead carries this show. They should all thank her because without her acting (other than few moments here and there),she saved the show big time in a way it makes it more watchable. It's like watching a bad show but you simply can't stop watching because there's a little glimpse of hope .

Could have been good
I have not yet finished this drama but I could tell you all that it would take me a long long time to finish this unless I just fast forward every scene the FL is in which is not ideal. I don't mind the plot at all. What kills it for me is the FL. By far, the WORST actress I have ever seen in a show or movie. She does not have any emotion at all. It's almost like she is trying too hard to look cute in ALL SCENES. The drunken scene in early ep was really really bad. Majority of the time,she looks like this :O (pouty mouth, eyes look like she has no idea wtf is going on). She cannot even fake feeling excited or tired. I can't feel her anger or sadness.I am watching the show along with Bridgerton (Netflix) and Business Proposal ,the acting from this show is the weakest which is sad because this show is supposed to be the MOST EXCITING show with all the gaming and competition but even when they win a game or she wins a match, you simply don't share the excitement.

Slow pace
Very slow pace but It's entertaining. If you are looking or anticipating any big drama or twist, this show is not for you. This is a show mostly about perspective of life. I found myself wanting to see what each character has to say about their view of life overall. The brother character I found is the most interesting and well written.His belief about being rich or being born in bigger city and live there will change his life or make him happier change throughout the course. Mr Gu story line is really not believable. Hard to believe people will welcome someone to live or work close by without knowing anything about them AT ALL other than his last name. I was looking forward for his amazing story and turned out ,his career was even more unbelievable .
Tae hun story is the worst by far. They never reconcile his attitude towards his sisters. So we are just going to have to believe he will marry and the wife will just have to endure his sister's horrible behavior.
