A journey of solving mysteries

This drama is beautiful. It starts with beautiful visuals.
Acting :
All the actors and actresses are just best of the best even the support cast did their job perfectly. My favorite charater would be zi shang and yuan zhi. Zi Shang adds a perfect laugh to this drama.
On the other side Yuan zhi is such a excellent character. His smile is sinister when he knows he is going to win. He loves poision but is a softy at heart.
Our main leads did an amazing job. Ziyu and yun weishan are like those dream couples, always supporting each other. Where on the other hand Shang jue and Shangguan qian are like those toxic and "its so complicated" like couple who has a lot back stories, mysteries, and pain their heart. Pain which they cant even share with each other.
There's no one in this drama whom i dont like. From hero to villian i them all.

Story:
Storywise it does have a lot of plot holes but you can't detect them that easily. In some of the last episodes when everything comes to end the mystery is solved.

Costume and makeup:
I watch ancient and wuxia chinese dramas just because of their costumes and makeup. This drama did a pretty good work in this field everything and i mean everything is so beautiful.

Action:
Some fighting scenes remind me of the untammed. Most of the action scenes were shot so fantastically
And i watch the fights with curiosty of how beautifully they were done.

There is romance in this drama. Romance is not much but you can see it ....
Overral rating should be 9 that is based on story, costume, and visuals.

The drama started with some serious murder by the monster or we can call them angel from the hell...that really made me feel nauseous,.,,, *lots of blood* as the story progresses it was intriguing and had many jaw dropped scenes and also made me think is it even possible in real life???.... the connection between the characters was beautiful, though there were loop holes in the story and many things that were unexplained and left to viewers judgement, it was good. the CGI was perrrfect!!! and storyline was good. The acting was superb and intense. This season was not draggy and boring. I liked the last scene very much .... they don't die.... so are the all alive... are they born with super-natural power, or are the ghosts... lets wait for next season...there was no moment when I thought of dropping this series. IT'S A MUST WATCH GUYS!!!!

reasons why you should watch this drama???

1. even though second lead is soft and sweet, you might think he is the real hero and you will start with shipping Second ML but no one loved seol like jeong did. jeong (ML) was loving but different from others.
2. everyone acts so well, after 2 episodes you will feel like connecting to this drama. It is relatable to our daily life, this drama is based on different psychology of different people.
3. everyone is so beautiful
4. FL's character shows growth in the end of the drama.
5. people might think its not a happy ending drama, but as she says in the end of the last ep that for the person like sunbae she has to wait more, she has to understand him more and it feels like they had a happy ending in the story.
6. if you watch this with open heart, you will love it.

I was more of interested in romantic and comedy k-dramas but since devilish joy i liked Choi- Jin- Hyuk's performance overall. so i started watching this crime/action/thriller drama just because of him and "rugal" doesn't disappoint me in any manner. I found it bit boring when i watched first episode but just because of the cast's great acting i thought of going on forward with other episodes too and guess what I'm enjoying this drama and whole cast is truly working hard to give their best. Every episodes leaves you in kind of mystery and suspense that you start thinking what will happen in the next episode, you cant predict any of the episodes and that's what is great about this great k-drama.

I hope people just don't expect anything from a sci-fi cum action drama....i dont expect romance in it....its a joy ride for action and crime investigation lovers .
