The Emperor orders Xiao Bao to visit his father who is still alive and who becomes a monk on Mount Wutai. Emperor Emeritus refuses to leave, so Xiao Bao has no choice but to head back to the palace to inform the young Emperor about it. Emperor Emeritus also gives Xiao Bao another "Sutra of 42 Chapters" and wanted Xiao Bao to tell the young Emperor not to visit him. Xiao Bao also tells Emperor Emeritus about the Empress plan to kill him and how she's going to burn all Empress Duan Jing's books.
