With other people pulling the strings of his own revenge, Min Ho finally has the time to sit with his emotions and begin to examine the reasons behind his literal change of heart. After the death of Min Ho's uncle as the days progress, Soon Jung sends text messages about upcoming interviews and dealings at the office while Min Ho spends his days lazing about at home without sending a reply. After some time Min ho asks Soon Jung visit his parents grave with him where a situation occurs where they are captured inside a car and talk. Soon Jung says it still isn't too late for him to start leading a better life, one that isn't disgraceful. Those words affect him, and Min Ho says there’s something he hasn't told her yet. Soon Jung asks what that is, and Min Ho turns to her to say, “I like you".
