When Ye Lanyuan visits one of the warehouses, he discovers that the company has been helping to smuggle drugs. Meanwhile, Xu Xu goes to Ji Bai's house late at night with food because of his injury. When he believes she brought it to just please him she admits that she brought him dinner just because she wanted to. Xu Xu goes home and draws in her journal like always which Yao Meng sees and states that the snail 'Xu Xu' has fallen in love with the lion 'Ji Bai'. This statement puzzles and shocks Xu Xu into realizing her feelings. Police are investigating the drugs found at the Ye corporation warehouse and are searching for where Mr. Hu went into hiding. The Major crimes team are investigating the Golden Fields company for any clues on the human trafficking case. All the while Yao Meng and Zhao Han friendship increase through their partnering up together. They use one of the human traffickers arrested to help them infiltrate Golden Fields to have Yao Meng to work there while the other cops case the area. During this time Xu Xu and Ji Bai are undercover as a couple which has Xu Xu flustered.
