Ruo Xin and Yi Pin investigate the brothel in disguise. They end up kissing to hide their identities. Yi Pin realizes that Yin Jun is not the murderer. Hearing that, Li Jin confronts Yin Jun but accidentally kills him. After solving the mystery of the secret chamber murder, Yi Pin does an analysis and finds out that Red is probably the murderer. Shang Ren donates money to the theater and becomes their guest performer. The emperor is not happy about that. Yi Pin points out that Red is Zhu Gu Li and gets him to tell them how the crimes were committed. Red tries to kill Li Jin in order to seek revenge for Li Ye. Yi Pin shows up in time and saves Li Jin.
