Nirvana in Fire Season 2: The Wind Blows in Chang Lin Episode 36
Ping Jing and his father go to the imperial court to stand trial for not following the Emperor's edict. Ting Sheng says outright what everyone is afraid to say to the emperor, clearly asserting Chang Lin Manor's undying loyalty to past and present emperors. The stressful situation breaks Ting Sheng and his illness is manifested severely. He is brought to Chang Lin Manor to recuperate, but it is apparent his days are numbered.
