Wait what? A little confused on the stance of some characters

So I'm really digging this show but I can't quite figure out some stuff, It could either be due to the poor quality of subtitles or just my potato head not being able to link things together. So I'm watching this show in Ondramanice and its really not as nice with CNdramas as it is with Kdramas.Could anyone help me by explaining whether Bai Lu is good or bad? cause she's meeting up with the dodgy doctor who I thought was Tiang Jing's therapist but was seen drain some lady's blood. However, he hacked into the assistant's laptop to not disclose the "secret". And what's the thing with the tracker on TJ's van, who placed it? and why? and why does Bai lu wear the same clothes as her? and is she also a mutant. SOMEONE HELPPPP ME
