Good prolog

I love how they make their prolog, simple and make people curious about the story. The prolog tell about Xiao Feng that jump into the river, and that's enough for me to start this story, even if i not read the book.

I was quite not expecting that kind of an opening as it introduces both our leads and the tragic scene that instantly drawn me in. It made me all the more intrigued and to keep watching to find out what was going to the happen. The opening scene reminded me of a similar scene from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon when Jen Yu jumped off the cliff to fulfill a wish for Lo. This time its Xiaofeng jumping off the cliff to forget. The story introduces our two leads, The Fifth Prince and Xiaofeng. You have Xiaofeng being the carefree person she is, doesn't want to enter a marriage alliance which eventually ended up in her meeting the injured 5th Prince. I found Xiaofeng to be a really funny character and I couldn't help but smile and laughed when she was reading the secret edict she found upside down which the 5th Prince used as an advantage to lie to her, lol. He then takes off having found out she is related to the people that killed his Imperial Brother. I have to say quite a lot happened in this episode which I was more than very happy with. I do hope they keep up with this pace but also let us see the character developments between the leads.
