If you're craving for some beautiful and heartbreaking romance, these dramas will give you what you want. Both have some magic, amazing casts, great CG effects.

Goodbye my princess is the drama version of Eastern Palace so you'll see the same plots, endings and characters.

Both are written by the same author. Male lead’s character is very complex as he is involved in the downfall of her family (but not as dramatic as GBMP) and the drama is also very political. But it’s unique and the actors makes it astonishingly enjoyable. The story in SIF is not in chronological order so the beginning may be a little confusing to some audiences and uses flashbacks instead as it jumps 2 years later into their marriage while GMP’s events goes in it’s chronological order. But both leads carries hatred and vengefulness.
But don’t forget, the author is known as the step-mother of her novels and yes this is also a tragedy. Both are a bittersweet melodrama with great OSTs that compliments the angsty and tragedy of it.

Similarities :-
~ both drama are historical and romance
~ the main lead once fall in love with each other, then they forget their lovers, and fall in love again with each other.

1) Both were extremely tragic , the sweet parts of the drama was simply there to make the tragic parts even more tragic.
2) Both male leads had concubines/harems
3) Both male leads do everything in order to become Emperor
Differences:
No-one can beat Li Cheng Yin (male lead) in Goodbye My Princess in how cruelly he treats the female lead and the trauma and torture Xiao Feng (female lead) is put through because of him.

both have some similar concept male lead marry female lead to achieve his target against female lead family , have hold love and revenge as same time . push and pull relation always have flavor of hate/love/obsession .

It's a complicated revenge plot with two star crossed lovers who fall for each other despite the circumstances against them. A very grey and multilayered ML, and a dynamic FL. Amazing chemistry between them. Along with beautiful cinematography, strong writing, and great music, this drama is iconic.

Tantai Jin and Li Chengyin competing for the title "the worst ML in c-drama land".
The author of Goodbye My Princess also likes Jinjin a lot.

Strong romance / beginning of the romance based on lies and deception although later in both dramas ML falls very hard for FL. In both ML hurts FM and try to redeem. In the World of love he manages to get her back in Good Bye My Princess he is losing her...

I finished this novel in 3.5 days while on vacation. Angst genre with a happy ending, to be honest, even though I really like the whole story, I don't know why there are a few things that stick out, maybe because I prefer sad ending stories. The female lead is said to have returned after the disaster, as if seeing the future, she starts again to the beginning of life before the disaster occurred, she is not sure whether it is a dream that describes the future or the life she has lived. The plot of the novel begins with the angst genre, as if we are brought to feel the feelings of the main female character walking on thin ice, feeling anxiety.
This novel is not for readers who like romantic stories, maybe it is more suitable for fans of dramas like Goodbye my Princess (2019).

Similarities: Female lead will forget everything due to the betrayal of the male lead. The female lead will love the male lead after forgetting everything but will be the most vengeful once their memory returns.

Differences: Once Upon A Time is a film while Good Bye My Princess is a drama. The male lead of Once Upon A Time did not truly betray the female lead while the male lead of Good Bye My Princess truly betrayed the female lead.

Both have tragic ends LOL

Good cast, OSTs and cinematography. OSTs and BGM are greater in GBMP

Great chemistry between the ML and FL.

both have love triangles.

Even it's tragic, both worth the watch.

this is adapted from the same author
they're probably in the same universe

Goodbye, My Princess tells about a love story that revolves around the 9th Princess of Western Liang as she journeys to the Central Plains to fulfill a marriage alliance with the Crown Prince.

"Wonderland of Love" follows the story of the emperor's grandson Li Ni, who guards the border and is forced to take on the responsibility of quelling the rebellion. During military campaigns against the rebels, he encounters the ambitious Cui Lin, who is the only daughter of General Cui Yi, the commander of the Cui family army. They cross paths with each other many times on the battlefields. One is scheming and witty, the other is guileful and forthright. In their competitiveness with each other, from time to time they calculate and predict each other's plan and movement to fight as the winner, which leads them down the path of falling in love.
