Four Stars

I get really sick of hearing the same lines every time there's a dramatic secret that's been kept from someone and that person discovers it. It's always "did you laugh at me and think I was an idiot for believing your lies?" But most of the time when there's a huge lie like that, there's a reason behind it. I know Joong Hee is upset (and he actually has more of a right to be upset than characters in other dramas with big secrets, I think, since this lie made him think his father had abandoned him, while the truth is that he died, so he couldn't visit Joong Hee even if he wanted to), but I don't get why people's first inclination is to think that the liar set up this whole elaborate scheme just to trick one person. Like how self-centered can you get? Maybe in Korean society that's just the easiest way to pull at the guilt heartstrings, but I really do get sick and tired of that line.
