For all that Hye Young is self-absorbed, arrogant, and rude, I admire her straightforwardness. A lot of the times, kdrama characters hide their true feelings, either out of bashfulness and some misplaced sense of pride or because they think they're somehow doing the other person a favor. So I appreciate that Hye Young can at least be honest and direct about her feelings when she realizes them, rather than just pretending they don't exist.
