+the storyline is light and not complicated ( not too much dramatic situation).+the story is about friendship/sismance and of course there is some romance, after all it's a story about imperial harem.
+it's about harem, so there are many beautiful actress ❤️
+the story is funny, even tough the joke is something predictable but the acting + music make it enjoyable.
-the romance part start a bit late, around eps 12 when the ML's love rival showed up.
-the story between eps sometimes didn't connected (especially the later eps)
-the emperor is rarely get a scene in the few last eps.
conclusion:
this drama is a good historical comedy without heavy plot. recommended. it's good to cleanse your soul ?

Comedy that was not that funny
They inserted mini stories to add episodes and totally ruined the whole thing. SO DIFFERENT AND FUNNY
This drama is so original, the way the dialogs and situations sometimes mixes modern and tradition is so well done ! I really love all the acting, the relation between all the girls I can enjoy because they don't create tragic false situations like they 're used to do in all palace dramas. The emperor and Mengfei is the funniest! I laughed a lot!You can almost see each episode without having seen the others because almost each episod has his own story.
I hope that they're would be more of these kind of dramas with humor and good acting!

Sit com in salsa antica Cina
Più ancora di molti altri, si tratta di un drama peso piuma. Inizialmente pensavo si trattasse di uno slice of life ma, nel progredire degli episodi, mi sono resa conto che è praticamente una sit com. Mancano solo le risate a scena aperta, e per fortuna. Sostanzialmente l’azione si svolge per il 99% a palazzo, e di questo 99%, per buona parte nelle stanze del gruppo di consorti ultra-secondarie che formano la cricca della protagonista.Si ride parecchio, a tratti anche fragorosamente, specie nella prima parte della serie. Inizialmente si ha, per quanto lento, uno sviluppo della trama, che vede la protagonista Meng attrarre, suo malgrado, l’attenzione dell’imperatore. Cosa ancor più grave, dal suo punto di vista, comincia ad esserne attratta pure lei. Siccome vuole evitare il rischio di essere perseguitata dalle altre consorti più favorite, l’evolversi della situazione non può che allarmarla e far sì che cerchi di opporvisi con ogni mezzo.
Poi, come spesso accade, si è cercato di allungare troppo il brodo. Lo sviluppo della relazione fra il monarca e Meng ha cominciato a stagnare e si sono susseguiti diversi episodi di puro filler, che hanno esplorato le vicende di buona parte dei protagonisti secondari, mettendo in freezer la coppia principale, che non è più stata scongelata nemmeno nel finale. Non è che un sorriso e tenersi a braccetto siano una dichiarazione molto audace, via.
Questo tradimento dello spettatore non mi è andato giù. Dopo 36 puntate avrei almeno voluto vedere i due protagonisti formare una coppia più dichiarata. Diavolo, sono sposati da un’eternità e si amano, forse si sono scambiati non so se uno o due baci, la relazione resta completamente platonica. Di più, benché in principio si vedesse il monarca scegliere le targhette delle compagne per la notte, si ha l’impressione che poi la passassero a giocare a scacchi. Non ci sono bambini, le consorti non gli interessano e nemmeno nell’ultima puntata il poverino va a segno.
Questo per dire che è una commedia, sì, ma non molto romantica. Per quello che han fatto vedere, una decina di episodi in meno non avrebbero guastato. Non mancano i lati positivi. E’ stato bello vedere lo sviluppo della sorellanza delle quattro consorti che abitano il cortile secondario. Il cast ha lavorato molto bene, in linea col tono dell'opera. Come già detto, gli sviluppi della prima metà sono stati piacevoli e molto divertenti. Gli ambienti sono gradevoli e così i costumi, le musiche azzeccate. Mi è piaciuta moltissimo l’opening. Da segnalare l’uso svergognato di terminologie e concetti moderni e addirittura l’apparizione di Cesare (Giulio?). I vari episodi filler non sono stati comunque sgradevoli e tutto sommato si arriva alla fine senza troppa noia, seppure un po’ delusi dal poco tempo dedicato alla coppia principale.

Ce qui, bien sûr, attise la curiosité de l'empereur :)
Certains passages sont drôles (if you let your brain at the door :) avec 1 tas d'absurdités :
- série historique mais les présentateurs de spectacle ont des micros (1 concombre surmonté d'1 orange)
- les danses s'inspirent des années 1920
etc.
La romance n'est VRAIMENT pas au centre de la série (friendship au sein du harem). Le CL n'est ensemble qu'à partir de l'ép.20 et il y a très peu de scènes cute... :(
"Cas ou problème" qui sont traités sur 1 ou 2 épisodes, sans storyline générale. On se demande où ça mène... Nulle part ! Même la Happy End est décevante !
Quel gâchis : avec un tel plot et ces très bons acteurs, il y avait tant de potentiel !!

Jiro Wang, kaisar yang sangat Tampan, Adil dan Bijaksana kepada seluruh masyarakatnya, Meng Fei yang unik dan peduli pada semua orang sehingga membuat kaisar jatuh cinta padanya.
Hanya saja terlalu banyak adegan Meng Fei dan teman-temannya daripada adegan Jiro Wang.
Jiro Wang adalah sang kaisar yang memiliki peran sangat penting dalam kerajaan tetapi justru kaisarnya yang jarang terlihat.
Tetapi aku tidak apa karena jalan cerita dalam drama ini sebenarnya sangatlah keren.
Aku berharap ada season 2.✌
