After being victimized by his army supervisors again, Mu Le defects to the Huodu bandits at He Zhun’s invitation. Lan Zhi tries to persuade Mu Le to return but fails, leaving him with no choice but to attack Mu Le. Just as the archers open fire, Mu Le’s superpowers are activated, and he deflects all the arrows back to the army. Shocked by his outburst, the soldiers peg Mu Le as a monster. Even the bandits also have qualms about Mu Le’s inhuman strength, though they still recognize Mu Le as one of their own.
