Together with Lan Zhi, Tian Shu and the Infanta, Yuan An interrogates a merchant from Suoluo named Ling Xi and discovers Mu Le’s true identity. Determined to confront Mu Le, Yuan An heads to Suoluo with Ling Xi, who becomes her guide begrudgingly. Meanwhile, Prince Ying arrives in Suoluo just in time to stop his villainous brother, Prince Heng, from being released. He proceeds to heal the bedridden King with his newly-acquired Divine Beads.
