Just as Prince Heng attempts to launch a mass killing, Lan Zhi and the Infanta arrive to rescue Prince Ying and Yuan An. As the four friends retreat to safety, they devise a plan to eliminate Ling Xi first by destroying his physical body, which is believed to be hidden in the palace’s forbidden archives.
