Fabulous techniques

As a Criminology student myself, I absolutely adored this episode because the studio utilized lie detection techniques, which is my favorite subject to date! K's detectives didn't exactly use this but rather it was one of the group of boys that did, and it had a few headache inducing scenes because the suspects were all really good at hiding their emotions and important details. First off before I give the reason why I gave this episode flying colors, I'll briefly explain the plot as I understand it. It starts off with Jong-min getting a tip from K to solve a murder case of a female highschool student that happened a week ago from the present day in the show. Everyone gathers to find the clues with the help of her diary's contents (I was so amazed when Sehun figured out the first clue btw, I know most of the show is scripted, but still!) and eventually encounters five boys in a group called 5urprise that they created for themselves - these five boys would be the ones where the clues will focus on and it's up to K's detectives to figure out who among them is the killer. The scenes where the detective group were verifying their alibis was a rollercoaster of a ride for me XD, especially the kayaking part! It took the detective team a lot of cardio and leg workouts to finally catch the killer. These are the scenes where I had headaches from because most of the detective team were old XD so I naturally rooted for Sehun and Sejeong to help them out. Anyways, now to the reason why I gave this episode a 10, that's because everything down to the bone, was seamless and just *chef's kiss* really brilliant! The acting with the five boys was spot on, and they gave the detective team a run for their money! I highly recommend you guys watch this by researching about Gu9udan and EXO too to understand the context as to why the victim mentioned these (well, I know why they included EXO, plus Sehunnie's reaction during that mention was cute <3).

Nailed it!

Here we have well-known faces (at least for me): Seo Kang Joon (Cheese in the trap, Cunning Single Lady) and Kang Tae Oh (Run On) with wonderful performances. It was one of my favorite episodes, the whole cast was amazing and the plot was very well developed, I felt really immersed in the story. A save for Sehun who was magnificent throughout the episode and even went for a run with Kang Joon at the end of the episode.
