Asari Yusuke, met up with Yanase Kozo, the prisoner facing death row. As a bereaved member of the family, Yusuke is unable to contain his emotions as he begins to rebuke him. When he immediately moves in to investigate the situation further, he tries to dig his way through the dark mysteries of his family’s unfortunate incident. Meanwhile, it seems that the prisoner on death row has more or less accepted his guilt. Even though, this case still remains a shrouded mystery, Yusuke begins to believe that the only reason the prisoner had been continuously opting for a retrial is due to his desire to prolong the execution as much as possible.
