CangLing is on the run, and Zhi Yan goes out to try to help him. Zhao Yao becomes visible to Li ChenLan, at dusk, during a fight with North Hills leader, while protecting Zhi Yan and Cang Ling. ChenLan immediately stops the fight by protecting Zhao Yao. Upon her request, she spares Cang Ling's life. He sends him to Pure Wave Palace where South Hill leader heals him. Then he kicked him out. Zhao Yao meditates. He watches her, while it sinks in, that he really has Zhao Yao back. He went to her memorial and dug up a box that held the necklace she used to wear. Zhi Yan goes to the village to do good deeds, and meets CangLing there, he is still asking for her to come with him. She refuses. Li ChenLan showed up to bring her back. He sent her in, and gave her the necklace that once belonged to Zhao Yao, and told her to wear it the next time she came to meet him. Then set the time at dusk, now confident, that is when it will be Zhao Yao. When he comes for Zhao Yao, he told her he would take her to Wu'e hall, a room near his. She seems almost salty that the "seduction" must have worked, and assumes he just likes Zhi Yan's looks.
