Li ChenLan is in pain. South Hill leader comes to look at his wounds. He says most people are trying to get healed. This is the first time he has seen a fool playing with his life to amuse a girl... Zhao Yao purposely lets ChenLan hear her say he is the one she loves. Later, Li ChenLan feeds her hawthorn fruit on the street. CangLing is not pleased with this happy display of affection. He tries to drag her away... CangLing is in love with Zhi Yan and not willing to give up. He offers to also not go back to their sect, but for them to stay together there in Jiang Zhou city. Zhao Yao says if he fights and wins against ChenLan, she will go with him. CangLing fights. ChenLan says he is no match for me, but if you want to see the fight, I will fight. They end up doing a round of 3. 1 fight that ChenLan won, 1 dice game CangLing won, and 1 game of chess(Go) ChenLan won. Now CangLing must agree to quit bothering/interfering with her. CangLing is sad and remembers his romantic past with Zhi Yan. Then remembered how she broke up with him. He still doesn't want to leave her alone. Finally Li ChenLan points out to him that no one from his sect has looked for him in all this time, that he is dim witted for not realizing this is odd. ChenLan said there was no fate, that we always have a choice. Zhao Yao asks if he came this far by choice, fate was not a factor? He says if fate were real he wouldn't give in to it. She said because he is so unfriendly toward fate, that is why he is unlucky. He says I don't need luck. He took her to view the moon, and is always reluctant to let go of her when he is holding on. She keeps judging that he has just fallen for Zhi Yan's face. Zhi Yan tells her she does not think she is so cold to just kill Li ChenLan. Zhao Yao remembers the past when MingXuan tortured her. Zhao Yao goes back to the Land of Rest. Finds out medicine from the land of rest only work on people from the land of rest. ... and that shopping is what cures a girl's broken heart.
