The appearance of the heart scrying mirror necklace, in his dream, alerted him that something was wrong. He woke up from the dream state. Then walks toward Zhao Yao and hears her making a deal with Jiang Wu. She says she wants to take Sima Rong. She offers to be Jiang Wu's informant. Furthermore, she said that she hates Li Chen Lan. Jiang Wu hold and caresses her hand while offering to take her in, instead... Jiang Wu looks like he is about to kiss her hand. Li ChenLan uses his sword, which wakes all the dreamers. It also draws Zhao Yao and Jiang Wu's attention. When they arrive at Wan Lu, they find the Captain and some black guards trying to take Zhi Yan's cloak off. She enters and starts to ask Li ChenLan if he is injured but she is cut off by him coldly ordering her to leave. Back at Wan Lu sect, South Hill leader treats Li Chen Lan. South Hill Leader comments about him not being afraid of death but he seems to be afraid of his own disciple. This hit Li ChenLan too close to home. Li ChenLan thinks about Zhao Yao saying she hates him. Zhi Yan tries to convince Zhao Yao to go explain herself to Li ChenLan, adding that she thinks he is a good person. "good people" is a sensitive topic for Zhao Yao. She thinks of the bad memories of MingXuan. Invisible, Zhao Yao goes to check on Li Chen Lan. South Hill leader is treating his wounds. Most of which were gotten, when he got her sword. South Hill leader tells him to stay away from water and heal for about a month without exertion... Talking to herself, Zhao Yao says she 'should pour cold water on him now and then stab him with her sword... but why do I suddenly not want to do that anymore?
