Zhao Yao appears at Phoenix mountain ready to kill Ming Xuan, and looking like her old self. They argue their positions, and fight. Ming Xuan is about to deal a fatal blow to Zhao Yao, when Li ChenLan stops him inches away. the Immortals retreat. Li ChenLan holds onto her, stares into her eyes. She wants to hunt Ming Xuan, but Li ChenLan wants to keep her safe. He offers to be her weapon and shield. They find them again in the wood, and fight. West Hill leader makes his way to Wan Lu sect. Zhi Yan stages a jail break and meets up with the Black guard reinforcements.
