Li Chen Lan cradles Zhao Yao, in his arms. Jiang Wu finds them, immediately attacking. He soon sees the mood and stops. Li Chen Lan asks him to help save Zhao Yao. Jiang Wu is convinced of the seriousness of the situation, when Li Chen Lan does not hesitate to kneel and bow 3 times in front of him. The two cast the formation to save Zhao Yao. To make it work, Jiang Wu literally digs his heart out of his chest. During this, ex-captain Lin breaks in, and takes the opportunity to try to kill Zhao Yao. She fails, but steals Zhao Yao's sword. Later Jiang Wu agrees to share leadership of Wan Lu sect with Zhao Yao and Li Chen Lan. South Hill leader is anxious to have his wedding. Ming Xuan wheedles information about the Xu Zong sect's secret, from a disciple.
