Zhao Yao is upset that Li Chen Lan did not tell her he was effected by Evil Vapor. Li Chen Lan tells her about his insecurities. Li Chen Lan and Zhao Yao separately ask around about removing the Demon Essence from Li Chen Lan. Jiang Wu's two friends try to convince him to give up on Zhao Yao. Instead, he looks for a way to ruin the relationship between Zhao Yao and Li Chen Lan. Jiang Wu packs up to leave and invites Zhao Yao to meet him at the mountain gate, to say goodbye. Li Chen Lan is upset to hear that Zhao Yao and Jiang Wu were at the mountain gate together. Jiang Wu purposefully provokes Li chen Lan's jealousy. Li Chen Lan goes full demon and accidentally kills one of Jiang Wu's two friend.
