Xu Zong leader puts South Hill leader in prison. Xu Zong sect leader is busy "treating" Ming Xuan, in preparation of using the Xu Zong sect technique "to cure him". However, Xu Zong sect leader used this opportunity to try to save himself. He tries to hijack Ming Xuan's body. There is an internal struggle and it appears Ming Xuan wins. Now Ming Xuan is even more powerful, having absorbed the Xu Zong sect leader's power. Ming Xuan kills all of the Xu Zong sect disciples, collapses the hidden room and obliterates the Xu Zong sect's leader's body. Worrying that South Hill leader was still not back, Zhao Yao, South Hill leader's fiance, and some guards arrive at the Xu Zong sect too late. Deprived of medical supplies, South Hill leader's wound worsened quickly and he died. Meanwhile, Jiang Wu has been causing trouble and killing Wan Lu sect guards. The ex-Captain Lin justifies not being loyal to Zhao Yao and remembers when she fell for Li Chen Lan.
