Zhi Yan visits CangLing and sets her plan in motion. Zhi Yan gets swindled at the gambling hall, then ran away crying. Later, Zhao Yao(who looks like Zhi Yan) goes to the gambling hall and beats everyone up. Zhi Yan is thankful and in return goes to do more good deeds. Qian Xian attends a meeting of immortal sect leaders. Deacon Chi publicly gives Liu Wei an alibi. Qian Xian asks Liu Su Ruo if she was familiar with the manipulation technique and notices she seems to be hiding something. Qian Xian , goes to Wan Lu sect, to bring Zhi Yan back himself. When he is led to Zhi Yan's door, only Zhao Yao is there. She does her best not to alert him, that he is not speaking to his niece, but is nervous, and runs out Ah Da, reports to ChenLan about the incidents at the gambling hall. Li ChenLan suspects something... He also hears that Qian Xian is there to take Zhi Yan away. Li ChenLan shows up at the door, finding Qian Xian waiting for Zhi Yan to come back. Li ChenLan notifies him that Zhi Yan has claimed him as her master, and as her master he will not let her leave tonight. The real Zhi Yan comes in. She is awkward with Li ChenLan. However, she tells her uncle confidently that she plans to stay at Wan Lu sect, to improve her martial arts, and eventually will seek revenge for her father. ChenLan scolds Zhi Yan about her visit to the gambling hall again, then leaves. After a visit to Sima Rong, he returns to teach his new disciple some moves. This time, he is actually with Zhao Yao. Zhao Yao approximates Zhi Yan's sect's style well enough to fool ChenLan. Sima Rong told him, he may be seeing similarities between her and Zhao Yao, because he wants to see them. Li ChenLan becomes less suspicious. The Captain is worried about the continuing situation with Jaing Wu. After being scolded by Li ChenLan for allowing Qian Xian in, to see Zhi Yan, without telling him, Captain tattles about Zhi Yan's visiting CangLing in prison.
