An action comedy with a Cool FL and Cool ML? Sign me up!

I know it's a bit premature to give 10 stars, but wow, within the first 13 minutes, I was hooked!

I've been searching high and low for a drama exactly like this. It has everything I love in a story: action, an intriguing plot exclusive of the romance, comedy, a hate-to-love relationship, strong yet vulnerable leads, who can stand on their own outside of the romance, and lots of hilarious and interesting supporting characters. Now, this could all take a seriously grim nosedive later on, but for now, I have to say this was a stellar starting episode and a very riveting premise. It gave just enough exposition for us to get an idea of what's going on without spending so much time on explaining everyone's motivations that you get bored.

As for the cast... Well, I've only known Lee Joon Gi in historical roles, and while I've loved him in those, I have to say Lee Joon Gi in expensive suits is a LOOK. He's just so charismatic every time he's on screen. There are a couple of moments where he gets to show off his martial arts as well and I feel like he just looked so much better doing those in a modern role than he did in historical ones. Maybe historical ones made it seem a little over the top, but so far in this, it just looked so much cooler. As for Seo Ye Ji, I've only seen her in Hwarang and really enjoyed her character there, but man oh man, she is AMAZING in this one. It's been one episode and I'm madly in love with her. Like normally in these dramas, the ML will be cool and the FL will be boisterous, perky and sassy, or passive, exceedingly good-hearted and proper. Seo Ye Ji's character in this is just as cool as Lee Joon Gi's. She's just as charismatic and strong and capable. I don't think I've ever seen that before.

Anyway, sorry for the ramble, but I'm just so excited for this drama. I really really hope it lives up to my expectations, which are unfortunately quite high now.

Here's to a great drama!!
