Wan Mei's first "kill"

Not sure how they got the information about Han Xiu, but they probably have an intel unit somewhere. I'm surprised she took the route of taking advantage of his past and using it against him. Since she didn't want to kill the doctor in the first place, why would she have the guts to be a past lover and not be hesitant about killing him? That aside, I thought the writing was well fleshed out in this episode. Instead of marking the target as a complete asshole, we see a side of him that is tender and vulnerable, and it makes you feel for him as a person. I guess her hesitancy was justifiable and without him killing himself, she never would've completed her mission. Also, the fact that he saw through her rouse was something I've never seen before, and it makes this show somewhat realistic in that way. Also felt when Han Yue found his brother's dead body :( Wait where was Chang An keeping that umbrella??
