After being reprimanded by Kim Sang Cheol, Gang Hun applies for an assistant professor position at the neurosurgery department of Hyeseong University Hospital, Chunha’s rival institution. Jun Seok is flustered when a patient’s hemorrhage does not subside during a surgery for which he is the chief surgeon. Jun Seok tells the patient’s family the problem occurred because Gang Hun had not told him that the patient took aspirin. The patient’s daughter confronts Gang Hun, who insists he did nothing wrong.
