Wow

This one is going so much faster than the other one lol. Some of the lines are the same but most of them are different or some variation of the lines in the first one. Love joong, I have his photo card as a keychain so this has already won over my heart. Im hoping they keep in the glasses seen because that was so cute. Phana is somehow more annoying than he was in the first one. I start work in 2 minutes lol. But this looks like it’s gonna be just as much fun as the first one lol. Okay bye!

donno why its called 2Moons 2 - they should've just called it 2Moons, as this isn't a continuation of the previous season. but a remake - that's why people be confused - *******************************************************************************************i already read to many comments - the ones that said this was bad and the first one was better - the ones that pointed out that this isn't a sequel but a remake - and others that said this was better - so wasn't surprised or confused as to what's what... **********************************************************************************************************************************************i just finished binging the first 2Moons and it was great at the start, but my "high" just dwindled the further down the "rabbit hole" we went.. i.e as the episodes progressed - so i aint in-love with the previous "make" - maybe cause of that, i can see that there r scene that were edited out and its for the better. as for the cast - yeah different but not worse or better, just different - yet to see if their chemistry works better. let alone if they can pull this off better then the previous actors did... beauty wise not comparing cause it wont be fair - ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************story wise no smooth, but that's the problem when ur using the same plot but u wanna make it different.. like Froth suddenly appearing to give Yo a ride - that was out of nowhere - and why did he have to run in with Yo - was he also late? did Yo need a chaperon into that building? *********************************************************************************************************same with Ming telling Yo that Pha was jealous - didn't seem so - he came after Froth asked for and got Yo's phone number. he got a bit miffed that Yo didn't wish him well in the exams - that's about it. and there r loads of little things, some work better, some seem disjointed - but all in all think i will give this a go - as i'm interested to see where this is going :D

Not a great start

I struggled with Episode 1 for the first season, so I expected to have the same problems in this one. But it's made worse by the fact that I just really don't like this cast. The replacement actor for Wayo and Kit are the only 2 that seem like they fit the character. The replacement for Pha doesn't sit right with me at all. He doesn't give off the right vibe to be the guy everyone on campus has a crush on. Even the actors for Ming and Forth just seem so different from what we had before. It's also kinda clear to me that the writers of this season were depending on viewers to have seen the first season to fill in the gaps of the scenes they're leaving out. I know the whole first season is basically supposed to happen in the first 4 episodes, and at first I thought it was going to be fine, but I realize now that there's going to be so many things left out that made me love Yo and Pha in the first place. I'm hoping the next episode will be better and hook me in just like the first season did, but I don't have high hopes at the moment

Had to rewatch the first one

Like my caption said I had to rewatch the first series first! I didn’t do it to compare because regardless I knew it was going to be amazing I rewatched the first because I thought it was going to be season two and then I realised it was a remake of the first. I loved this episode.

Way better than I expected

I was reluctant to watch cause I didn't wanna compare it to the old version but I still decided to give it a go. And to be honest I did compare them at first (like the first 5 min)... but the more I were watching the more I got hooked. I feel like their acting is so thoughtful it made me think of it as a whole new series... Besides I heard that they're gonna sum up what happened in the OG in the first 3 ep so starting from ep 4 it's gonna be a real new season and I'm so looking forward to it...They worked hard for this new season and I kinda feel like that's gonna pay off...CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE!!!!PS: New KitKat is so cute too!!!!

Slow. The sound editing leaves something to be desired. The acting is alright, but not good, and the set design for all the university scenes is subpar. This show is probably going to suffer for being compared to the first one and being much lower quality than it, but factoring that out it wasn't awful. The two leads (Wayo and Pha) are very awkward actors, but hopefully they get the hang of it as the series goes on.

2 MOONS 2 (2019) EPISODE ONE: A BETTER START

I have to write about the first episode of 2 Moons 2 because I felt like I need to get these thoughts out of my head. ❤️ I will compare some of the elements between the first and new series since it is the first episode but I think in the next ones, I would be able to discuss about it as its own.

First, it has a better cinematography and dialogue than the first one. I was really impressed because throughout the first episode, I can’t get over the fact that it was able to improve its artistic and technical decisions. One example was the basketball scene of Phana which exhibited his silhouette. Now, there are still slow motion scenes; however, it has the right atmosphere. It was not uncomfortable which I felt in the first one. The cut between the scenes was fine and the conversations between the characters were realistic enough for me. Of course, I won’t be able to assess the whole script until the last episode.

Second, the scenes which I found cringey in the first series was somehow really charming and cute in 2 Moons 2. I had a smile on my face during those parts. I guess what really changed my perspective was the comfortable atmosphere that Phana and Wayo gave in the episode. Some of the characters were able to depict their personalities already. Wayo (Earth) was able to exhibit a shy, cute, and a little awkward person who is head over heels for Phana. In accordance with this, Earth had good facial expressions and movements in the first episode. The way he potrayed his character was adequate. On the other hand, I could not discuss about the other characters since I need more of their screen time to do that. I could say though that they are all charismatic. In addition, we have to consider that they are still rookie actors so there will be some need in adjustments in terms of acting; however, it is better than the last one. I think that after a few episodes, it could withstand on its own without any comparison with the first one (I hope so).

Here is the most impressive part of the new series (episode one) - an already better embodiment of Phana. The facial expressions of Ben was really evident. He was able to express the suitable facial expression in each scene. Before the series started, some people said that he was not good looking enough to be Phana. In my opinion, when I watched the episode, he gradually grows on you because he has that certain charisma that I observed in the episode; moreover, Ben was already able to establish in my mind the he is Phana. Basically, he was believable enough.

Lastly, the exhibition of the storyline. What I liked was even though the first episode was part of a recap, it was surprisingly sufficient for me as a viewer. It was not fast paced for me and instead, every scene became necessary since the episode only showed the important parts. The first episode also had a sense of warmth or an affectionate feeling (especially the scene at the beginning of the episode). Overall, 2 Moons 2 is “off to a better start”. It has a potential to surpass the former one. I could not wait for the next episodes. ❤️
