Novoland: Pearl Eclipse Episode 1

A young Hai Shi is looking for a mermaid so she, her father, and uncles can get pearls from their tears. Sharks attack, killing her father and uncles, but she is saved by a mermaid and is given the pearls. She tries to save the village by giving the pearls as a tribute to the Emperor. The collectors pocket the pearls and try to take the people as slaves. She is saved by Fang Zhu, who happens to know the Emperor, her sworn enemy. (Source: frankly at MyDramaList)
