I am hooked

I watched this and was surprised by how well and engaging the plot was. My father, who is a high school football coach even enjoyed this. That is a lot to say considering he usually makes me turn off my K-Dramas, but he was invested after the bully got punched. He even had some commentary. I love Saeroyi’s character so much, he is realistic with his ways about controlling his anger. I loved him as soon as he dumped the water over his head. And my dad liked his haircut.

Itaewon Class

Spoiler

Itaewon Class opens up with Park Seo-Joon still in high school, a headstrong teenager with uncompromising ideals. On his first day in the new school, he is expelled for refusing to compromise on his ideals and convictions which also leads to his father being fired -- all for standing up for a bullied student and, of course, the twists is the bully is the son of a powerful local businessman where Park's father also works. This very son causes the father's death and to top it off Park is sent to prison. All in all an overwhelming start to the drama with a lot of bad things happening to our lead. This is, however, a stellar show with an amazing slew of cast members who promise to make this "the" drama of 2020. I can’t wait to meet the full ensemble of characters as this story unfolds.
