Great if you can get passed the subtitles (or know Chinese)

While I am watching with AI-generated or terrible automatic subs, it still is a very enjoyable start. The premise is nothing new but I do like the characters so far. Ding Yuxi is great and I can see glimpses of his later roles in Cai Tian Mu. The female lead played by Li Ying Ying is adorable, and does a great job making you feel for her situation. I also think Jiang Zichen does a great job as the mean girl antagonist so far.
