Wen Xi makes a snap decision to follow in Ze Xin’s footsteps so she can be expelled from the academy, but she doesn’t realize that doing so will blacklist her brother’s name, banning him from all other academies and official posts for life. She realizes her mistake, but it might be too late as the class must now decide if she is expelled or not.
