The current Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare, Saburo Umezawa, who repeatedly makes gaffes, comes to Totei University Hospital and says, "I want to be admitted because the media is making a fuss." However, the acting director of the hospital, Nicholas Tange, refused. Kuniko Takeda, Umezawa's secretary, visits Shigekatsu Hiruma, who has been arrested by the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office and is in detention center, and asks him to arrange for Umezawa to be hidden in a hospital in exchange for the case not being prosecuted.
