Mikoto's working relationship with his team members is becoming rocky as he begins acting out of character in his determination to save the people whose destiny it is to die. He learns that his youngest stepbrother, Ai, is a bit of an outcast at school, and this Ai's only true friend is actually a grandmother he met in the park and who has taught him how to cook traditional Japanese dishes.
