Luo Yan and Fang Li are punished with the task of repairing the flower field of agronomy department as they are still the prime suspects behind the lab explosion. Fang Li threatens him with a fake letter admitting their crime and they both work on the field together. Luo Yan's friend Shi Xu nvites him out to the pool to cool off and he meets Jiayi there. He outright rejects her confession. Fang Li arrives with a take out and meets him at the sams spot. An accident leads him to fall into the pool and he has a flashback of his time at school which he doesn't remember. Su Qiyang tells the reason of the explosion to Fang Li. Luo Yan finds out that Shi Xu is the one who left a tank of nitrogen accidentally open. He confesses his crime.
