The uncle's past ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ-

We were introduced to Sang-Gu's past in broad strokes. It was nice to see the development of their relationship with his student, but at the same time it was heartbreaking to watch how he lost him.

EPISODE 7: THE BROMANCE EPISODE

This (Episode 7) made me shed tears. Ep 5 was very moving, but THIS one made me cry, and I couldn’t help it. Su-Cheol’s death was more devastating than the doctor’s death because he was close to Sang-Gu, our lead character. If Episode 5 is what I call the “BL Episode,” this one (Ep 7), I’ll call the “Bromance Episode.”

Since Sanggu was indeed a good guy who tend to not really be too honest about his true feelings. As we could see from his past relationship with Sucheol. Having a glimpse of how Sanggu's relationship with Sucheol started, it was really heartwrenching to see how things lead up to the present. And we already see how he had reacted before with Kim Insu, so now we get to truly understand why he felt strongly about it in relation to Sucheol. As in, even when Sucheol's condition didn't seem to be improving, it was hard for him to have to let him go. In which, for him to finally find out the whole truth that Sucheol had hidden from him much more painful.

Letting Go

When is it time to let your loved one go? What is living? What is death? Is merely breathing enough? All ofthese questions come to mind inthis episode. Sucha powerful episode and sad too.
