The Crown Prince, admonished by the Emperor during the feast, escapes from punishment with help from Zhu Zhan Ji. Zhu Zhan Ji crosses paths with Yao Zi Jin, who, despite winning the top prize of the Food Services competition, is punished by Directoress Wang Yao Qing. This is the beginning of a battle of wits, endurance, and perseverance.

This episode highlights the start of palace intrigues and power plays, showcased through the sharp, steadfast personalities of the senior palace servants. It also teases the distinct missions and intentions of our three aspiring imperial servants.What stood out most, however, was the female lead's deliberate actions to catch the male lead's attention—it is no wonder she was punished so quickly, as the Directress most likely saw right through her.

Why that Directress Wang was so ticked off…

Why that Directress Wang was so ticked off by FL presence? So FL in here was graceful and smart. Why FL was so pale and glistening? I don't get what the reason for her to carry those two heavy things. What was it?. Okay this was the second time I saw FL and ML in a drama, the last I saw both of them in one drama, I'm sure you guys know the title of it. I love that drama so much oh Fuca Fuheng you were amazing and Wei Yingluo I love your cunning mind. Anyway, so ML had his legal wife and concubines already. His bun style... umm I have to bear with it. So was his imperial Consort umm... Being killjoy to put him off or she really didn't know how to be good to him? Oh... She was daughter of Jing Quan??? Never thought I wld see him playing as a father. Hmm... What Manager Fang said was right FL keep her composure. But really what was her motive beside avoiding marriage when she entered the palace? Why she was curious like that?. His hands will be hurting a lot.
