While GUTS is looking into a mass sighting of an angel, Captain Iruma visits her estranged son, Tomoki, who now lives with her late husband's mother. Iruma's mother-in-law has seen the angel too and, like many others, believes it is a sign of Judgement Day. However, GUTS finds strong evidence that a familiar and malevolent force has returned to try destroy Ultraman Tiga. (Source: TV Tropes)

Five Stars

One of the best Tiga episodes for me. The contrast between good and evil and the narrative about mass manipulation are very compelling. A highlight is the scene where Tiga rises and, beside him, there is a reference to Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam. This episode is a masterpiece.
