Inami's first trial begins and Mikoshiba insists on him not being guilty. However, Mikoshiba encounters an unprecedent enemy. Inami himself wants to be punished for the crime. He tells Mikoshiba that he's fired. Meanwhile, Yoko visits Inami's ex-wife, Kyoko. She learns something horrifying about Mikoshiba's past that she didn't expect. Mikoshiba, who hasn't given up on Inami, goes to find out what was happening at the elderly home and gets clue about Tochino's past.
